Granola is a mix of many items, typically containing rolled oats and various added ingredients such as sweeteners and nuts.

Oats are one of the five grains that—unless baked into matzah—become chametz, which is strictly forbidden to own or consume on Passover.

That said, it is perfectly possible to purchase (chametz free) granola that is certified kosher for Passover or even to make your own (see our delicious and chocolatey Passover granola recipe here).
