Winter Garden, part of the greater Orlando metropolitan area, is one of Florida’s fastest-growing cities and home to a diverse and thriving Jewish population made up of Americans, Israelis and Brazilians.

Now, Rabbi Mendy and Sheina Konikov have established the city’s first permanent Jewish infrastructure.

Warmly embraced by the community, Rabbi Mendy and Sheina have already connected with families from all backgrounds and are bringing the community together through weekly Shabbat dinners, monthly Shabbat services and kiddush, holiday events and Torah classes.

They have also established a Hebrew school, Bat Mitzvah Club and Mommy & Me classes, creating meaningful Jewish experiences for all ages.
