Just a short drive north from Chicago, Libertyville, Ill., offers a vibrant downtown, scenic parks and well-preserved architecture that create an inviting small-town atmosphere—the perfect setting for Jewish life to flourish.
Now, Rabbi Levi and Mushka Krinsky have opened the community’s first Chabad center, creating programs for Jews of all ages and backgrounds, and offering events and services designed to welcome everyone.
Every day, they’re meeting more members of the community, building connections and laying the foundation for something meaningful in this historic and welcoming town.
The Krinskys have launched with incredible momentum—from “Shofar in the Park” on Rosh Hashanah to a sukkah on wheels cruising through town, as well as a sukkah at the local farmers market.
Now they are gearing up for Libertyville’s first-ever Chabad Chanukah celebration. Live locally? Get all the details here.
